Love for our Earth and absolute respect for life: it is from these feelings that the Il Cerreto farm was born in Val di Cecina, an activity that we have been running for more than twenty years according to the organic method and the principles of biodynamic agriculture.

Guiding us are a deep sense of responsibility towards nature and the belief in an essential link between microcosm and macrocosm. We began this path by moving away from the city to create a living agricultural organism in the Tuscan countryside, where the soil, crops, meadows, woods, but also rivers, animals and people interact with each other to create the harmony needed to keep the environment healthy, vital and productive.

We grow cereals, legumes, vegetables, medicinal herbs and we devote ourselves to the production of honey, extra virgin olive oil and pasta. To share our philosophy of life we welcome guests in a bio agriturismo run with a focus on sustainability, not far from Pomarance and Volterra. In our organic restaurant, we offer simple dishes that can convey the quality and genuineness of the products from our land.
